Kathmandu, Jan. Raghu Ram Srinivas, an Indian who has done Cricket Australia's High Performance (Level 3) course, has been appointed as the fielding consultant coach of the Nepali cricket team.
According to the Nepal Cricket Association (NCA), he arrived in Nepal on Sunday to take charge of the Nepali team's Clause Camp.
Srinivas has previously worked with the US cricket team. Nepal's head coach Pubudu Dasanayake was the head coach of the United States while Srinivas was the fielding coach.
Coach Dasanayeke is happy that Srinivasa has arrived in Nepal. “Coach Raghu worked with me when I was in the United States. He is a very energetic fielding coach who will work on some of the weaker sides of Nepal. I am grateful that you came to give me your important time, even in a short invitation. ”
Nepal has been playing the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 World Cup in Oman since February 17. Before that, Nepal will play a four-nation T20 series in Oman. Nepal will play its first match of the series against host Oman on February 11. The second match will be played against UAE on February 12 and the third match will be played against Ireland on February 14.
After participating in the series, Nepal will play Global Qualifier 'A' from February 17 to 24. Organizers including Nepal, Oman, Ireland, Germany, Philippines, UAE, Bahrain and Canada are competing in the competition.
